Est. 2019 — Lincoln Square, Chicago
Linden& Oak
Slow coffee, good bread.
North Side · Chicago
About
Our corner of
Lincoln Square.
We opened in June 2019, tucked between a used bookshop and a dry cleaner on Western Avenue. The name comes from the two trees that line this block — the lindens that go white with blossoms every summer, the oaks that hold their leaves longer than anything else in the neighborhood.
We pull espresso on beans from Onyx Coffee Lab in Rogers, Arkansas. Everything in the pastry case gets made in-house before 6am. The bread takes three days. We think that's the right amount of time.
This is a place to sit. Stay as long as you'd like.
